PEX tubing or Copper Pipe, And Why?

PEX tubing or Copper Pipe, And Why?

PEX tubing is nothing but the tube cross-linked polyethylene compound. It is quite friendly and durable enough temperature for temperature extremes (no matter if it is hot or cold, ranging from below freezing to 200 ° Fahrenheit) as well. It also provides support for the creep strain resulting from prolonged exposure to stress and any kind of chemical attack. With its many features, it is probably a good choice for hot and cold water.

Understanding copper pipe
Now we need to understand copper pipe and its functions, or it would be difficult for us to compare the two. As you know very well that we are made of copper pipes for a long time. Copper pipes are quite durable and flexible, making them easy to install. In fact, they are much better than the iron pipes. Also, copper pipes promotes environmental biostatic making it less susceptible to any bacterial infection.

Why PEX tubing is better?
The final choice really is yours if you fit pipes of copper or PEX tubing, but personally I prefer to use PEX tubing for several reasons as follows -
• Temperature extremely friendly, can use the hot and cold water
• Fewer complications in development, so it becomes easier to install compared to copper pipe
• Can easily go with any kind of plumbing system
• You can use it with PVC and metal pipes
• It a pressure system just
• What is good for installation in a corner and, as it is very flexible to bend in virtually every corner. To do this, you do not even need to use mounting or coupling.
